My YALC 2017 Book Haul

Okay so, when I was planning my blogposts for August, it was a given for me that I would be sharing my YALC 2017 book haul. The “how” wasn’t clear, but I thought it would be a fun way to wrap-up YALC without an excruciatingly long wrap-up post. (Those three days are filled to the brim with all things bookish and a full wrap-up would be HUUUUUGE.) What I DIDN’T expect though and was definitely NOT planning on doing, was picking up 32 books. *slowly blinks three times* Luckily I’m not a YALC noob and knew that my suitcase needed to be pretty empty on my way to the con. Because otherwise… I would have needed to leave some of these pretty books in London…

What I spend my money on

I bought a total of 12 books which is a… respectable amount without going too crazy, me thinks. I had my heart set on getting S.T.A.G.S and Beware That Girl, and I wasn’t able to get After the Fire in time so I still had to buy it. The rest were… well… impulse buys.

What I received for free

I honestly don’t know if it’s the first time so many proofs were up for grabs, or if I just noticed them more thanks to a lovely thing called NO ROAMING COSTS, but I went home with 20 free proofs.
