The YALC Reading Challenge

So as I mentioned in my How To Prepare For YALC post, it’s a good idea to try to read as many books from authors present as possible. The full YALC 2018 schedule isn’t ready yet, but luckily we already know the names of 40 authors. I’ll start the challenge off in this post, but I will also do a running update in my Reading Resolutions page.

Now, in order to be able to read this books, I’ll need to buy them of course and unfortunately that clashes with a different reading challenge of mine where I wanted to not buy more than two books every month. Oops. I’m going to make an exception to that rule however for ALL YALC books. I’m allowed to do that. Totally.

Below, you can find my YALC reading challenge so far. If the row is in italics and strikethrough, it’s not a book I’m planning on reading. If it isn’t, it’s a book I want to read!

  1. So far I’ve simply made a Goodreads-shelf with all the books that even sound remotely interesting. I think I’ll only sift through them properly once all the authors are announced, haha. Hopefully it will be somewhat doable before YALC because it’s a whoooole lot of authors and books!
